About Dennis Trittin
Dennis Trittin is a successful investment manager, educator and mentor committed to helping young adults reach their full potential. Now retired from managing over $30 billion in assets, he devotes his life to promoting leadership and life management on a global basis. Trittin serves as an advisor to several charitable groups and as a speaker with national and local educational and community organizations. Dennis and his wife Jeanne are parents of two young adults and reside in the Seattle area.

My Thoughts
This book is broken down into different chapters that look at various stages of life, from College and Academics to Marriage and Managing finances. Geared toward young people entering college, this book goes over many life lessons the author learned over time and gives sage advice to young adults. Written simply and with a straight forward approach, the author shares his knowledge to lead a successful life.

Although it is intended for young adults, many of us *cough* older folks can benefit from the books wisdom. Each section of the book ends with a "Take Five" which gives the reader a chance to answer some questions and reflect on what they just read.. And I found myself doing just that.

I really enjoyed this book. I think it makes THE perfect gift for the graduating senior embarking on the college adventure. They will find tips and strategies for handling adversity, career, love and other experiences they will encounter on this journey called life.
