Little Angels "Prayers for Every Day" Review and Giveaway

Little Angels Prayers for Every Day
Roma Downey with Illustrator Lisa Reed

I recently had the opportunity to review this book and I will say, it's great. As a Sunday School teacher, I feel it is necessary to find material suitable for a child at their level. It's not a "one size fits all" world. "Prayers for Every Day" by television star Roma Downey is just the right book for pre-school children. Simple rhyming prayers for any situation they encounter.

About the Book

Little Angels Prayers for Every Day features more than 50 simple rhyming prayers that cover a typical day and the typical worries of a young child. From waking in the morning to going to sleep at night, from thanking God for a meal to praying for His comfort when afraid, the prayers here will help little ones to see that any moment is a good moment to talk to God. Relevant Bible verses are scattered throughout the book as well!

My thoughts
The most I've known of Roma Downey is the TV show "Touched by an Angel" which I never really watched, even though it was filmed right here in Utah. I had no idea she was an author of children's books too.

This book is just a perfect fit for a young child of pre-school age. The pages are thick cardboard for little hands to turn with out ripping and the art included on the pages is colorful and will appeal to your child.

The prayers are broken out into different categories from morning prayers, prayers of praise, thanks, guidance and many more. Sprinkled with scripture throughout the pages, "Prayers for Every Day" will show children the love of Jesus and that they can call upon Him at any time.
