Mustache Cookie Cutter Review and Giveaway

Cookie Cutter Giveaway
I love unique cookies and I see them all over the place. My husband just likes cookies in general and I don't even think he cares what shape they're in since it's usually a blur from picking them up and eating them. Shhh…. don't tell him I said that.

I was recently given the opportunity to review mustache cookie cutters from Fuzzy Ink. What a cute idea! I've seen mustaches on t-shirts and on the Internet in various forms so this was great!

I was sent a set of 3 mustache cookie cutters. They measure approximately 4"x1.25", made from 100% stainless steel and are uniquely shaped. One reminded me of the baseball player Rolly Fingers from the 1970's. He played with the Oakland A's (I'm originally from Oakland) and I had his poster on my bedroom wall as a kid. Ahhh… nice memories!!

To use these the first time, I went with a store bought cookie dough. I selected Great Value's Snickerdoodle to start. Of all the cookies out there, I love snickerdoodle. And peanut butter cookies.

When cutting the cookies, dip the cookie cutter into some flour to avoid the dough sticking to the cutter. You want the entire shape in dough, not missing parts of the mustache. Aren't these cute?

They baked up nicely in the oven. Here is a preview:

Here they are when done. The cookie dough I used spread out a bit so next time I'll do something different, but the shape is there. They turned out cute and I frosted them and ran a toothpick through the frosting so it looked like mustache hairs. They were pretty cute.

The cookie cutter set made adorable cookies and we loved them. I'm so excited to try these again and to also use them to cut melon and other softer fruit. It would make an adorable fruit tray for my next picnic or barbecue.
